Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Kirkut mobile application (“Kirkut”, “the app”), published by Dhondooo. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms.

1. Use of the app

Kirkut is a personal, offline tool for tracking cricket matches, teams, players, and statistics. You may use it for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes.

2. Your data

All content you create in Kirkut is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for your own data and for keeping backups (the app provides a JSON export feature for this purpose). We are not responsible for any loss of data resulting from device failure, app deletion, or updates.

3. Third-party services

The app uses third-party services for crash reporting (Sentry) and anonymous analytics (PostHog), as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of the app is also subject to those providers’ terms.

4. Intellectual property

The app, including its design, code, and branding, is owned by the publisher. These Terms do not grant you any right to copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the app except as permitted by law.

5. Disclaimer of warranties

The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that scores and statistics will be free of inaccuracies.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the publisher shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, arising from your use of or inability to use the app.

7. Changes to the app and these Terms

We may update the app and these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
