This Privacy Policy explains how the Kirkut mobile application (“Kirkut”, “the app”, “we”, “us”) handles information. Kirkut is published by Dhondooo.

Summary

Kirkut is an offline cricket match-tracking app. All of your cricket data — matches, teams, players, and statistics — is stored locally on your device. We do not operate a server that stores your personal content, and we do not sell your data.

Information stored on your device

The following is created and stored only on your device and is never transmitted to us:

• Match details (type, venue, overs, innings, scores, ball-by-ball events)
• Teams and players you create (names, roles, and any profile image URL you enter)
• Statistics derived from your matches
• App preferences (such as your theme choice)

You can export this data to a JSON file and import it again using the in-app backup feature. When you export, the file is shared using your device’s standard share sheet; where it goes is entirely your choice.

Information collected automatically

To keep the app stable and improve it, we use the following third-party services that may collect limited technical information:

• Sentry (crash reporting): when the app crashes or hits an error, Sentry receives diagnostic information such as the error, a stack trace, device model, operating system version, and app version. This helps us fix bugs. See Sentry’s privacy policy.
• PostHog (product analytics): collects anonymous usage events (for example, that a match was created or completed) and basic device/app information so we can understand which features are used. We do not send your match, team, or player content to PostHog. See PostHog’s privacy policy.

This information is not used to personally identify you and is not sold.

Permissions

• Internet access — used only to send crash/diagnostic and anonymous analytics data and to check for app updates.
• Vibration — used for haptic feedback in the interface.
• Audio playback — used to play a short coin-flip sound effect. Kirkut does not access your microphone and does not record audio.

Children’s privacy

Kirkut does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The app does not require an account and stores data locally.

Data retention and deletion

Because your content lives on your device, you can delete it at any time by clearing app data within the app or by uninstalling the app. Uninstalling removes all locally stored data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
